Month in Review: March 2014

March passed quickly, and I’m not sure how to characterize it. Everything went well! Wedding planning took up most of my available brainpower!

In business, I shared Stephanie & Tyler’s Moncton engagement shoot, Rachel & Kev’s offbeat wedding in New Maryland, and Amy & Patrice’s sweet engagement shoot down in Saint John. As an added bonus, I got confirmation that my work will be included in the upcoming book “The New Art of Capturing Love,” which is incredibly exciting.

Personally, March started off with wedding dress shopping! It went better than expected. For AG’s birthday we had a Russian-themed dinner and then spent 4 hours watching Andrei Rublev. I shared some Arizona landscapes from being on the road, as well as images from our sunrise/sunset experience of the Grand Canyon. We took on an eating challenge: to be vegetarian for Lent. So far it’s going great (only one cheat day, while in Montréal. Because come on, I abstained from Montréal smoked meat for over a year [since our last visit]!). Speaking of Montréal, we had a great visit with two Blue Jays games and getting to see Craig Ferguson do stand-up live! I also shot a couple of sessions which I’ll share soon. Lastly, the Veronica Mars Movie came out! As a proud Kickstarter backer, I watched it the night it was released, and went to the theatres a week later to see it again. LoVe!
