2013 was a killer year – I’m sad to see it go.
I photographed 12 weddings and 33 portrait sessions and commissions. Climbed a mountain. Shot my first destination wedding, in beautiful Bermuda. Had jaw surgery and happily recovered quickly and fully. Ran my first 10K and my fastest 5K in years. Gave several talks, both locally to NBCCD and Photo Fredericton folks, and nationally via Skype to students in Lethbridge. Spent a week in Toronto (saw my favourite band, Fleetwood Mac!). Successfully completed a 30-in-30 challenge at Moksha Yoga Fredericton. Learned how to make jam. Scored a dog friend. Had my work featured 10 times in various blogs. Re-learned how to sew. Knit a good friend’s wedding shawl. Spent time in Halifax, PEI, Grand Manan, St. Andrews, Fort Gaspareaux, and more. Kayaked. Launched a mentorship program. AG and I celebrated our 6th anniversary and did a decent job on the list of summer fun times. I stopped drinking Diet Coke.
Here, in no particular order, are some of my favourite frames from 2013: people, places, and moments to remember. To 2014!
