Going into this shoot I had visions of epic golden sunflare rolling down the hills, bathing the Evans family in beautiful light. Instead what we got was a grey sky on what to have been the coldest day of the year so far. The wind whipped through hair, and made eyes water. The Evanses, though, are tough. They took off their coats and smiled and laughed and posed through the pain. Even when I couldn’t feel my hands anymore, they didn’t complain at all. They kind of rocked my world.
