Month in Review: July 2012

I ended June’s post with “is it any wonder I love summer so much?” and that’s still true. July is bringing the heat, literally and figuratively. Even this blog post is late because I haven’t been able to find the time (or the internet access) this week to sit down in and write it.

Wedding season is kicking in for me – I photographed 3 in July, which was a great warm-up for having 8 weddings in the next 12 weeks! (It’s a good thing I’m taking my vacation now, huh?) I’ve been a busy bee keeping on top of my to-do list… I shared Suzanne & Peter‘s wedding and Tom & Kait‘s wedding, and soon I’ll be sharing Brad & Becky’s celebration, too! I also shared Lisa & Angela‘s engagement session, and Brittany & Terry‘s engagement session – I’m looking forward to their weddings later this year!

What else? I enjoyed the Canada Day festivities with friends and family; Downtown Fredericton Inc. launched their new website, featuring tons of my photography; saw “Notorious” at one of Fredericton’s Movies Under the Stars nights; doing a bit of knitting after a break that lasted several months; I visited Saint Andrews and St. Stephen for the first time in years; spent an afternoon at Parlee Beach; got a new camera bag — and it actually holds my camera; and updated my 30 before 30. As I mentioned, I’m also currently on vacation, so the last few rows of images are all the fun I’ve had this past week… from boating and fishing quahogs to eating all of the things in Halifax, I’ve been having a great time.

I’ll say it again… is it any wonder I love summer so much?
