Month in Review: June 2012

June was… utterly insane. For one thing, look around, because if you haven’t noticed I rebranded my entire business yet, now would be the time. This was definitely the biggest thing that happened to me this month: the effort put into it was monumental, and the feedback I got makes it all worthwhile. Thanks again to everyone who passed along kind words – they are so appreciated. If you missed it, I also blogged about the behind the scenes process of the changeover, so you can read about the logo design, deliverables, and website design processes.

June was also the beginning of my wedding season, and it started off beautifully with Mary & Brian’s pre-wedding celebrations in Woodstock,  followed by Suzanne & Peter’s beautiful wedding which I’ll be sharing soon! I posted a trifecta of engagement shoots: Alex & Olga, Tom & Kait, and Brad & Emily, and I was also fortunate to receive a bunch of features this month! You can see me on A Practical Wedding; Laura & Ian on Bridetastic Canada; Tom & Kait on Delightfully Engaged; and Rachel & Griffin on Style Me Pretty.

What else? Downtown Fredericton Inc. launched their new Shopping & Dining Guide, which I’m so happy to have been a part of; I went to Moncton for the RE:FLUX Festival; finally got to visit Fort Beauséjour-Fort Cumberland; I bought a new bike, which I’m still completely in love with; and had more than one perfect weekend. All the rain we had in June even had an upside: I got to jump into higher-than-normal lake off the dock for the first time in years!

Is it any wonder I love summer so much?
