I shouldn’t be making a blog post this close to midnight, but I got a new toy and I’m completely geeking out. I bought the brand new Storyboard script today, and have been clapping my hands gleefully ever since. (I actually made the man come and watch it work, such is the extent of my geeking). Anyway this post is brought to you by Storyboard, because there’s no way I could have blogged this many photos otherwise. And I was at this wedding for 13 hours, so there was plenty to blog!
Creighton & Nadine got engaged on June 21, 2010, married on October 9, 2010, and what they accomplished in the slightly-less-than-four-months between those two days is nothing short of extraordinary. Held at Sutton Oak Farms, their ceremony and celebration was a feast for the senses: a cornucopia of local flavours, sounds, and flair. From the amazing meal of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner using all local-grown foods, to the session musicians led by none other than Mr. Bill Plaskett driving the ambiance, to the lawn games and the banners and the pumpkin carving and the self-composting outhouse and the yurt. Did I mention it was all held in a building affectionately known as “The Coop”?
I had the hardest time working on these images because I’m good friends with C&N and too sentimental for this line of work and kept getting, oh, misty… anyway, here it is my friends. I love you; Merry Christmas.
